Good way to recycle a washing machine and steel sheets

Here is a 30 minute project if you have a metal cutting tool and a spot welder/rivet, to reuse the metal sheet from a car, a washing machine, a dishwasher etc. The price of workshop and dust pans is about 10-25 euros, so you can craft 10 of them and create some value.

Easy Rivet Pan with wooden/other handle:

French coal pan with excessive amounts of weld on the handle and corners, 5-6 cm edges:
Pans with long handles that can be used standing up, and pressed pans:

The way that they used to make thousands of dustpans in the 50's, with nice motif for the lady, except that today's polyeurethane varnish would last a lot longer. The corners are corrugated, a faster way than welding.

These can be present at christmas with a red bow and placed in the kitchen cupboard, but not in under the xmas tree, unless otherwise suggested.

Long handled dustpans are a useful addition to the corner of your workshop. An iron one will last 50 years so may as well make some one afternoon!
